The basics
What is Nightcap?
A melatonin-free sleep gummy for the nights your mind won’t switch off. Each blackberry gummy has reishi plus four other calming ingredients: L-theanine, lemon balm, passion flower and valerian root. Take one 30 to 45 minutes before bed. It’s made by Provisions Lane, a small company that sells exactly one thing.
Is there melatonin in it?
No, none in any form. Plenty of people want help winding down at night without taking a hormone to do it, and that’s who Nightcap is for.
Will it knock me out?
It won’t knock you out. It’s made to help you wind down, and passion flower and valerian root are the two ingredients that can make you feel sleepy.
Some people notice vivid dreams or a slower start the next morning from valerian, so pay attention to how your first few nights go.
Is it habit-forming?
There’s no melatonin, no hormone and no prescription sleep drug in Nightcap. It’s reishi and four other calming ingredients, several of which people have drunk as bedtime teas for generations.
If you’ve had trouble with sleep aids in the past, or you’re worried about relying on anything to sleep, talk to your doctor before you start.
Can I take it with medication or other sleep aids?
Check with your doctor or pharmacist first. That goes double if you take anything for sleep, anxiety or mood, or anything else that makes you drowsy, since valerian and passion flower can add to that drowsiness.
Who should skip it?
Anyone under 18, and anyone who is pregnant or nursing. If you take prescription medication or you’re managing a medical condition, talk to your doctor before starting. If you have a mushroom allergy, skip it.

What’s in Nightcap?
Per gummy: reishi mushroom 200mg, plus L-theanine, lemon balm, passion flower and valerian root at 25mg each. Blackberry flavor, colored with blackberries.
Every amount is printed on the label and in the supplement facts on the Nightcap page. No proprietary blend.
What does each ingredient do?
Reishi has been studied for calm and sleep quality, and people have been taking it for centuries. L-theanine, which comes from tea leaves, has been studied for relaxation without drowsiness. Lemon balm has been studied for calm. Passion flower and valerian root have long been used for sleep, and they’re the two that can actually make you drowsy.
Those studies looked at the ingredients on their own.
Why no melatonin?
A lot of people say melatonin leaves them groggy the next morning, or that they keep needing a higher dose to feel it work. Nightcap has no melatonin, so you won’t wake up with melatonin brain fog.
Does it taste like mushroom?
No. It tastes like blackberry, with none of the earthy taste people expect from mushrooms.
Is there caffeine in it?
No. There’s nothing stimulating in it.
Is there gelatin in it?
No. It’s set with citrus pectin, which comes from citrus peel, so there’s no gelatin in it.
Where is it made?
Manufactured in the USA. Non-GMO and gluten free.
Taking it
How many should I take, and when?
One gummy in the evening, 30 to 45 minutes before bed. One gummy is a full serving. The label allows up to two a day, so start with one and see how you feel before trying two.
Can I take it every night?
Yes. Nightcap is made to be taken every night.
What if I miss a night?
Take one the next night and carry on. There’s nothing to make up, so don’t double up.
Do I take it with food?
It doesn’t matter. Take it with or without.
Orders & shipping
What’s the difference between 1, 2 and 3 bottles?
Just how many nights you get. One bottle is 30 nights for $39 ($1.30 a night). Two bottles are 60 nights for $67 ($1.12 a night). Three bottles are 90 nights for $89 ($0.99 a night).
The 90-night supply has the lowest price per night, and shipping is free whichever size you choose.
Is this a subscription?
No. Every order is a one-time purchase. Nothing renews, and you won’t be charged again unless you place another order.
How much is shipping?
Free on every order, with no minimum. There’s no faster shipping option to upgrade to.
How long will it take to get here?
We hand orders to the carrier within one to three business days. From there it’s usually three to five business days with USPS Ground Advantage, so most orders land within about a week.
Where do you ship?
The United States only for now, including PO boxes and APO/FPO addresses.
How do I track my order?
You’ll get a tracking number by email as soon as it ships. If it’s been more than three business days and nothing has come through, message us and we’ll look.
Can I change or cancel my order?
Message us right away and we’ll fix it if it hasn’t shipped. Once it’s with the carrier we can’t pull it back, but the 30-night promise still covers you.
My tracking says delivered and it isn’t here.
Give it 48 hours. Carriers sometimes scan a package as delivered before it actually lands. If it still hasn’t turned up, message us and we’ll replace it.
Returns & the 30-night promise
What if it isn’t for me?
Take one every night for 30 nights. If it’s not for you, message us within 30 days of delivery and we’ll refund what you paid, back to your original payment method.
There’s nothing to send back. The promise covers your first order, whatever’s in it, so if you bought three bottles, keep those too. One claim per customer.
What if my order arrives damaged or wrong?
Send us a photo and we’ll replace it. That’s on us, so the 30-day window doesn’t apply.
